Responsibilities:

Obtain, monitor, and maintain
environment permits via local, state, and federal guidelines. Ensures
compliance with these permits in accordance with said guidelines.

Perform environmental compliance
assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure
compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Support the development of the EHS
compliance system program.

Coordinate site ISO 14001 EMS program
in parallel with Japans ISO 14001 EMS program.

Participate and conduct audits as
required to maintain compliance with ISO 14001.

Monitor and track targets in
accordance with EMS targets such as: electrical/water consumption and
waste generation.

Provide training as required to
ensure hazardous material is handled in accordance with current federal
guidelines. Ensure disposal is completed within said guidelines.

Complete and maintain reporting
requirements with regard to stormwater permits, waste generation, spill
prevention, air emissions, source reduction, etc.

Conduct weekly inspections of
chemical hazardous waste storage shed and ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
BS in Environmental Engineering,
Environmental Science
2+ years relevant experience in
environmental/health and safety
Knowledgeable of federal, state and local environmental, health and safety
regulations, programs, and procedures. (ISO
14001, EPA, DOT, TCEQ, OSHA).
