We are looking for a highly skilled
professional who will be accountable for the effective
and efficient management of Programme Offices in the
Africa/Madagascar region ensuring their delivery in
line with WWF’s global conservation priorities and
high operational performance.
The key requirements are:
· Advanced University degree in
Business Management, International
Relations/Development and other related fields;
· 10 years experience and a
demonstrated track record in providing leadership and
effective management of a network of decentralized
offices and large multi-donor country programmes;
· Strong leadership skills and proven
ability to manage interdisciplinary and multicultural
teams;
· Demonstrated knowledge and
experience in leading the development and
implementation of large programmes;
· Extensive experience in the
Africa/Madagascar Region in conservation and
development issues;
· Good knowledge of the policy
environment relevant to Africa/Madagascar and strong
advocacy and lobbying skills;
· Strong oral and written
communication skills in both English and other
languages relevant to the region;
· Strong commitment to the WWF
Mission and a passion for conservation.
