How to enable JavaScript in your browser

To enjoy your stay in EnvironBusiness to the fullest, you need to enable JavaScript in your browser. The following instructions describe how you can do this. The approach is different for different browsers. We have tried to cover as many browsers as possible. If your browser isn't listed, please consult its online help pages.

 


Internet Explorer (7.0)

  1. Select Tools > Internet Options.

  2. Click on the Security tab.

  3. Click the Custom Level button.

  4. Scroll down to the Scripting section.

  5. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Select YES if a box appears to confirm.

  8. Click OK. Close window.

  9. Reload page.

Internet Explorer (6.0)

  1. Select Tools from the top menu.

  2. Choose Internet Options.

  3. Click Security.

  4. Click Custom Level.

  5. Scroll down till you see section labeled Scripting.

  6. Under Active Scripting, select Enable and click OK.

Mozilla Firefox (1.0)

  1. Select Tools from the top menu.

  2. Choose Options.

  3. Choose Web Features from the left navigation bar.

  4. Select the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript and click OK.

Mozilla Firefox (2.x)

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  3. Click Content in the Options list.

  4. Under the Content section, check the box next to Enable JavaScript.

  5. Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.

  6. Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Click OK.

 

Apple Safari (1.0)

  1. Select Safari from the top menu.

  2. Choose Preferences.

  3. Choose Security.

  4. Select the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.

 

Apple Safari 2.0

  1. From the Safari menu, select Preferences...

  2. When the Preferences open select the Security icon.

  3. Check the "Enable plug-ins", "Enable Java" and "Enable JavaScript" checkboxes.

  4. Reload the current page.

 

Netscape (8.x)
  1. From the menu bar select Tools >> Options...
  2. The Options window will appear.

  3. From the Browser Options pane, select the Security and Privacy icon.

  4. From the Options window within the Security and Privacy pane, select the Site Controls icon.

  5. Select the Site List tab.

  6. Inside the Web Feature group, check the "Allow images to be displayed", "Enable JavaScript (/ VB script)" and "Enable Java" checkboxes.

  7. Push the OK button to close the Options dialog box.

  8. Reload the current page.


Netscape (7.x)

  1. From the browser's Edit menu select "Preferences..."

  2. Within the Category pick list, expand the Advanced item by clicking on the triangle twisty.

  3. Next, select the subitem labled Scripts & Plugins.

  4. Within the Scripts & Plugins window, check "Navigator" under the Enable JavaScript for grouping. In the Allow Scripts to pane, make sure items regarding cookies are checked.

  5. Push the OK button to close the Preferences dialog box.

  6. Reload the current page.



Netscape (6.x)
  1. From the browser's Edit menu select "Preferences..."

  2. Within the Category pick list, select the word Advanced.

  3. Check the box labeled Enable JavaScript for Navigator and push the OK button to close the Preferences dialog box.

  4. Reload the current page.

 

Opera (9.x)

  1. Open preferences

    • For Windows Users:
      From the menu bar select Tools >> Preferences...

    • For Macintosh Users:
      From the Firefox menu, select Preferences...

  2. From the Preferences window, select the Advanced tab.

  3. Inside the left-hand pane, pick the Content item.

  4. Check the "Enable JavaScript", "Enable Java" and "Enable

  5. Reload the current page.
