Second Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development

The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific is organizing the Second Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD). The APFSD meets annually as the regional platform that gives input to deliberations of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). The First APFSD convened in Pattaya, Thailand, from 19-21 May 2014. The 2014 forum brought together ministers, government officials, private sector and civil society representatives from 30 countries, and was preceded by a civil society meeting.
