Bring Your Message to California’s Capitol....by Bicycle!

Climate Ride will return for its fourth year May 17-20, 2014, and will see hundreds of cyclists pedal from San Francisco to Sacramento via California’s classic Wine Country to raise awareness of sustainability, renewable energy climate issues and bicycle advocacy. This “green conference on wheels” and fully-supported adventure raises funds for more than 60 non-profits including NRDC, Green America, 350.org, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Transportation Alternatives, San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, East Bay Bicycle Coalition, Sierra Club California, and more.

Climate Ride is the first multi-day, multi-city charitable bicycle ride to address climate change and renewable energy issues.  The event also endeavors to showcase the bicycle as the ultimate carbon-free machine and a viable form of transportation. Since 2008, Climate Ride has generated over $1 million in grants to more than 60 organizations.

Participants can currently register for the Climate Ride online at www.climateride.org.  For more information, or to support a participant, visitwww.climateride.org.
