International Conference on Clean Energy 2014 (ICCE - 2014)

From Jun 8, 2014 to Jun 12, 2014

At the beginning of the 21st Century, we are facing two major problems: One is that the fossil fuels, which meet about 80% of our energy needs today, are being depleted fast. The other is that utilization of fossil fuels are causing major environmental problems, such as the global warming, climate change, ozone layer depletion, acid rains, pollution and oil spills. We can solve these two interrelated problems by replacing the fossil fuels with clean energy. Clean energy will make it possible for the clean and renewable energy sources to power the world economy, and at the same time eliminate the environmental and health hazards caused by fossil fuels.

ICCE-2014 Conference – like it’s very successful predecessors – will consider the clean energy related topics, including solar energy and wind energy, ocean energy and hydropower, nuclear energy and technologies, hydrogen energy and fuel cells, biomass and biofuels, waste to energy, clean coal and clean fossil fuels, carbon sequestration and carbon tax, energy storage and energy conservation, environmental impact and remediation, sustainable development and energy management, economics and education, and international cooperation and technology transfer. At the conference, recent research findings on these topics will be presented and discussed.  The research endeavors of the scientists, engineers and environmentalists participating in this conference will make significant contributions to facilitate solutions to the global energy and environmental problems and help attain the clean energy future.

ICCE-2014 is a multi–disciplinary international conference on the clean energy sources and technologies, and will provide a forum for the exchange of latest technical information, the dissemination of the high-quality research results on the issues, the presentation of the new developments in the area of clean energy, and the debate and shaping of future directions and priorities for better environment, sustainable development and energy security. The primary theme of the conference is clean energy, not only in engineering and science but also in all other disciplines (e.g. ecology, education, social sciences, economics, management, political sciences, and information technology). Therefore, papers on related topics are solicited from all relevant disciplinary areas, ranging from current problems, projections, new concepts, modeling, experiments and measurements, to simulations. The topical areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
