Global Forum on Development 2015

From Apr 1, 2015 to Apr 1, 2015

The Global Forum on Development, which will focus on the theme 'Post-2015 Financing for Sustainable Development,' will bring together experts and practitioners to discuss how different streams of finance work together, in advance of the third UN Financing for Development (FfD) Conference, which will take place in July 2015. Participants will discuss: how developing countries interpret the global policy agenda on the ground; how to realistically track goals and their financing; national constraints that affect development finance policy and practice; and the role of the private sector, foundations, institutional investors and other non-state actors in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
